Meet the Host


CRAIG THOMPSON

Equally at home in front of the camera or behind a microphone, Craig Thompson is a skilled interviewer who launched his film and television production company, Ballinran Entertainment, in 1995 following more than a decade as a broadcast journalist and foreign correspondent. He has written, produced and directed dozens of documentaries that have been distributed in Canada and internationally.  The launch of The Stratford Slice represents a full circle for Thompson, who started his career in Stratford as an on-air host and newscaster for CJCS and as a reporter for the Stratford Beacon Herald. Through the Stratford Slice, his goal is to illuminate extraordinary stories, through conversations with a range of fascinating people who call Stratford home.
